Jeffrey Lieber Obituary
Born Oct. 9, 1974, in Clarion, Pa., he was the son of Richard J. Lieber and Janis (Swope) Lieber. His father survives and lives in DuBois with his wife, Carol. His mother survives and lives in Akron, Ohio.
He was a 1992 graduate of DuBois Area High School and a 1997 graduate of Clarion University.
He was the store manager of Friedman Appliance in Pleasant Hills, Calif.
Jeffrey is survived by Kip J. Lieber of Pittsburgh, Pa., a stepsister, Suzi Manning and her husband, Matthew of DuBois, Pa.; and two stepbrothers, Donald McCracken and his wife, Carolyn of DuBois, Pa., and Brent McCracken of Long Beach, Calif.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home, DuBois. Private services will be held from the funeral home.
Although flowers are appreciated, the family requests memorial donations are placed with the DuBois Public Library, 31 South Brady St., DuBois, PA 15801.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have known Jeff for over 13 years and considered Jeff to be one of my best and loyal friend. When I got the news on Sunday, I could not stop thinking of Jeff. I recently moved away from the area and haven't seen Jeff for about 6 months, but I knew when I called or texted about something, we would jump right in to the topic at hand. Never skipped a beat.
Jeff and I went to baseball games, hockey games (Whenever the Pens were in town, we saw them), playoff games at his house, Jeff was just the most warm hearted friend to have. He always made mixed CD's for me to listen to (His mp3 collection is quite extensive) and his love for literature, music, sports, and life in general was and is inspirational to me.
When my baby was born last year and he had a chance to meet her, he wanted to be the "Cool Uncle" and it breaks my heart that won't really take place.
Peace be with Jeff and his family. I know he talked about his love for his family a lot and we both talked how great that type of relationship is in one's life.
I will miss you Jeff and hope one day I can make it out to PA and meet you family to laugh and smile about your life instead of having such sorrow.
