John was always appreciative of my military service. When ever I was home he would invite me to their shows and he would often mention me and my service to his audience. I always appreciated the recognition. I enjoyed their music and managed to catch a show just about every time I was home.

My sincere sympathy to John's wife, children and all of his family. I didn't get to see John often, but when I did, we talked about all the musicians we knew and performed with over the years . He was the type of guy that appreciated everyone of them, no matter their skill. He was so talented, but even more than that, he was an amazing people person. Everyone will miss him.

John band played at my wedding June 1974. I was blessed to hear him sing and play last year. He was praying for a miracle. God needed his beautiful voice in heaven. Jenn I'm here for you if you ever need to talk. Walked in your shoes 3 years ago. Hang on to Jesus he will carry you through. Love to you and your family Jenn.

John was such a kind, sweet soul. He sang at our wedding and played a song on his guitar that he wrote, "Sharing All We Do." We will always cherish that memory of him. Prayers to his family during this difficult time.
