Larry Moyer Obituary
Born May 19, 1944, in Lebanon County on the Moyer family farm, son of John H. and Luella B. (Bates) Moyer.
Preceded in death by his parents; sister, Betty Moyer; and great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Plummer.
He is survived by Karen E. (Lewis) Moyer, his loving wife of 53 years; his four children: Holly, wife of Kevin Plummer, Reynoldsville; Molly Smits, McDonough, Ga.; Larry Jr., married to Patricia (Meier), Summerhill; and Michael Moyer, Randleman, N.C.; his nine beloved grandchildren: Kevin Jr., Sherry, and Bryan Plummer; Trevor Smits, married to Lilly (Gibbs) and Courtney Smits; Brandy and Brooke Moyer and Logan and Catherine Moyer; three adored great-grandchildren, Mason, Addison, and Grace Plummer; sisters, Loretta Smith, York and Joan Smith, Lebanon County; brothers, John Moyer, Annville and Roy Moyer, Fredricksburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and other beloved family and friends.
A retired dairy farmer, Larry was passionate about farming and spent his entire life on a farm. He was a hard worker who was loved and respected by all who knew him. Larry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home, Inc., 621 Maple Street, South Fork, Pa. 15956. Viewing will also be held at St. John's Evangelical Congregational Church, 683 Steelstown Road, Annville, Pa. 17003, from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017, the Rev. Jeff Berger officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam gifts can be made to South Ebensburg United Church of Christ, 380 Wilmore Road, Portage, Pa. 15946.
