Lillian Krug Obituary

Lillian L. Krug, 95, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of Bucktail Road, St. Marys, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, following a brief illness.

She was born at her home in Weedville on March 6, 1930, a daughter of late Clair and Dorothy Timblin McClintick.

On June 29, 1949, she married the late Hilary G. Krug, who preceded her in death on May 5, 2008. Together they were blessed with nearly 59 years of marriage, and are now reunited in Heaven and are sitting together on the front porch, watching the rain.

Lillian was a member of St. Marys Church and retired from Quality Components after many years of service. Her greatest joy was being a mother, and she relished being there for all of her kids' activities, even joining them while they went hunting. She loved to cook and always had a soft spot for dogs. When she wasn't taking her golf cart for a spin, she could be found at camp, sitting on the front porch, enjoying the quiet calm and solace. Becoming a grandmother and great-grandmother brought her immense joy, and she loved nothing more than spending time with her beloved family.

She is survived by three children: Linda (Ed) Feronti of Johnsonburg, Kenneth Krug of St. Marys and Mark (Heather) Krug of St. Marys; and by numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Jeff (Lori) Wonderly, Aaron (Shelley) Wonderly, Roger (Jennifer)Wonderly, Hope Wonderly, Cassandra (Sean) Krug and Katrina Krug. She is also survived by three siblings, Gary (Loretta) McClintick of Weedville, Gordon McClintick of Ridgway, and Gladine Smith of Penfield, as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Lillian was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Krug; and by three siblings: Duane McClintick, Clair McClintick, Jr., and Kathryn "Bonnie" Gontero.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Lillian L. Krug will be celebrated on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 12 p.m. at St. Marys Church, 315 Church Street, St. Marys, PA 15857 with Fr. Ignatius Camello, OSB, as celebrant.

Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday, August 29, 2025 from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m.

Sent Sympathy Gifts including Flowers

She was such a good aunt! Living so far from the rest of the family in California. I really appreciated, and she sent little gifts like an ornament for Christmas. Always made time for me when I came back to Pennsylvania for a visit and cooked me a meal. I miss her.
