Lisa Dixon Obituary

Lisa Ann Dixon, 58, of DuBois, PA, died June 13, 2025, at Penn Highlands DuBois after a short illness.

A daughter of Roberta "Bobby" (Yale) Sulin and the late Edward Sullin, Sr., she was born on December 20, 1966, in DuBois, PA. On June 30, 2007, she married Jason Dixon, who predeceased her on December 28, 2022.

Along with her mother, Lisa is survived by a daughter, Justina Sulin of Luthersburg; two brothers, Edward (Betty) Sulin, Jr. of DuBois and Dean Sulin of DuBois; a niece, Skylar Sulin and a nephew, Nathan Duttry.

Besides her father, Lisa was preceded in death by her husband of fifteen years, Jason Dixon, Sr.; a sister, Tina Marie Shubert; and her beloved wiener Dachshund, Freddie.

Lisa was a 1984 graduate of DuBois Area High School. She worked many years as a manager of the shoe department of Sears and several years as manager of The Shoe Show. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and spending time with her mother, daughter and great aunt, Kathy Schoening. She enjoyed being silly to provoke a smile or laugh. She was a member of the Penfield Firemen's Club and lived all her life in the DuBois Area.

There will be no public visitation and services will be held privately.

The family suggests memorials the Clearfield County SPCA or the Gateway Humane Society and will be accepting online condolences at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home website (www.nedzafamilyfuneralhomes.com).
