Lisa Salada Obituary
Born on September 10, 1957, in DuBois, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Dominic and Marie (Laman) Parlavecchio.
On October 19, 1985, Lisa married Donald C. Salada. He survives.
Lisa was a 1975 graduate of DuBois Central Catholic High School and a 1979 graduate of Mercyhurst University.
Lisa was employed as a drug and alcohol treatment counselor and previous to that she worked in her brother's, Dr. Dennis Parlavecchio's, office for many years.
Lisa is survived by her daughter, Sonya Salada and her fiancé Sean Cujdik; a sister, Michelle Kownacki; mother-in-law, Hazel Salada; and brother-in-law, Gary Salada; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Per Lisa's wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral services.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Parlavecchio, M.D.
The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., DuBois, is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be placed with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
