Had him in school nearly 30 years ago and just spoke with him at St Mary´s Walmart a few months ago. Such a nice person. And wow did he love the Minnesota Vikings. He had his Vikings hat on when I talked to him!

First of all my deepest condolences for the shocking news of Mikes passing. I just saw Mike at Clearfield Walmart last week, we had a long talk. He was a dedicated teacher and loved by many of his students and a truly great friend to all of the teachers. He and I shared a love for the outdoors and shared many talks about hunting and fishing. We retired together in 2013 and I thought highly of Mike, he was very trustworthy and dedicated to the teaching profession. The only thing we ever disagreed on was football, he was a Minnesota Vikings fan I rooted for Pittsburgh Steelers. I have only seen him a few times since we retired, but any time I went to Benezette I would think of him. The world has lost a good man and the Lord knows he has received someone very special I pray he rest in peace and that you find comfort in the memories you have of him.
