Patricia Freemer Obituary
Born on July 17, 1939, in Marienville, PA, she was the daughter of the late H. Wayne and Julia A. (Kerry) Shipe.
On September 12, 1964, at St. Leo Roman Catholic Church in Ridgway, PA, she married Thomas J. Freemer. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2011.
Patty retired as a nurse's aide at the DuBois Regional Medical Center after 38 years of service.
She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church and enjoyed ceramics, crocheting and bingo.
Patty is survived by two sisters, Judith Ann Erich and her husband Jack of Kersey, PA, and Rebecca G. Corey of Elbon, PA; three brothers: Willam K. Shipe of Arlington, TX; Larry W. Shipe of Ridgway, PA, and Richard E. Shipe and his wife of Colleen of Ft. Worth, TX; a sister-in-law, Deanna Shipe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Dannie Shipe; two sisters-in-law, Nini and Wendy Shipe; and a brother-in-law, Sylvester Corey.
Visitation will be held Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12 p.m. from the funeral home with Fr. John Malthaner officiating.
Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
