Pauline Crump Obituary
She was born in DuBois on December 3, 1924, to parents Henry and Olive Walk. Pauline was a 1941 graduate of Sandy High School. She married James Lyons in 1943. While raising two daughters, Carole and Peggy, she also worked at the A & P Supermarket, Riverside Market and Rolo Jensen in DuBois.
Jim and Pauline retired to Tucson, Arizona in 1988. Her husband, Jim, and daughter, Carole, both passed away in 1997. She remarried in 1999 to Walter Crump (deceased 2008) and gained four adult stepchildren and their families with whom she became very close.
Pauline was truly an angel sent from above! Her compassionate and caring ways were shared by all that were fortunate to meet her. Pauline's love of life and her infectious laughter were truly blessings she shared as she was always doing for others! She was very devoted to her faith, attending Church and Bible Study weekly, reading scripture daily, even in her 100th year on this earth.
Pauline is survived by: Daughter, Peggy Lyons, Williamsport, MD; two stepdaughters: Patricia Gumfory, Las Vegas, NV, and Geraldine Harrison, Tucson, AZ; two stepsons: Michael Crump, Showlow, AZ and Eric Crump, Tucson, AZ and their respective families; two sisters: Shirley Ingraham, St. Petersburg, FL and Kathy Smith, DuBois. Pauline also leaves behind her beloved dog, Angel, her constant companion.
Pauline's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her!
Interment will be at South Lawn Cemetery, Tucson at 11 a.m. on October 8, 2025 followed by a Memorial Service at Amphi Bible Church, Tucson at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Pauline's name to Hospice of the Valley, 575 E. River Rd., Ste. 126, Tucson AZ 85704, www.hov.org. A special thank you to the great Hospice of the Valley team for their support, love, and caring ways keeping Mom comfortable in her final days.

So sad to learn of your mother's death. She was truly a very special, sweet person; a very special Aunt. She used to call me 'Punkin head'. I still chuckle when I think of that name, she coined.
