Pauline Kniseley Obituary

Pauline F. Kniseley, 76, of Reynoldsville, Pa., died on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at DuBois Nursing Home in DuBois, Pa.
Born Thursday, Feb. 8, 1940, in Winslow Township, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John E. Burkett and the late Ethel (Marris) Burkett. She was the wife of Lyle Kniseley.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a retired employee of Jefferson Manor and Brockway Glass.
Surviving are sons, Paul Kniseley of Albany, N.Y., Dean Kniseley (Janice) of Reynoldsville, Pa., and Allen Kniseley (Lisa) of Derry, Pa.; brothers, James Burkett of DuBois, Pa., John Burkett of Houghton Lake, Mich., Norman Burkett (June) of Clifton Springs, N.Y. and Donald Burkett (Mary) of Houghton Lake, Mich.; sisters, Mary Ann Pietkiewiez of Franklinville, N.Y., Judy Jones of Reynoldsville, Pa. and Ruby Bair of Rossiter, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Services were private, and conducted at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements by the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Reynoldsville, Pa.

Pauline, I did not know you well, but the Kniseley family is very dear to me. I spent many of my childhood hours and days at the family farm. By the time I grew up and went to college, we did not see each other often. I will always have warm feelings for that whole bunch, of which you were an integral part. My deepest sympathies to those you left behind. I hope you are at peace in God's hands.
