Richard Tamburlin Obituary

Richard Tamburlin, 91, of Keller Road, Kersey, PA, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Nelson's Golden Years in DuBois.

Born on December 4, 1933, in Ridgway, PA, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Teresa Carlini Tamburlin.

Retired, Rich had been employed as a construction worker. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

He is survived by daughters, Nakoma McLaughlin, Antoinette Verne, Valerie Tamburlin; sons, Luke and Richard Tamburlin; sisters, Rita Amitrone, Phyllis "Bootsy" Lazore and a brother, Phillip "Butch" Tamburlin; grandchildren, Makaya McLaughlin, Keelan McLaughlin, Andrea Renfrow and Nick Verne, as well as several additional grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a daughter, Riva, and his beloved dogs, Suzie, Julie and Kiki.

All services for Rich will be private at the convenience of his family.

Memorial donations may be made to the Pennsylvania Outdoor Veterans & First Responders at paoutdoorveterans.org.

The Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. of Brockway is handling the arrangements.
