Roberta M. Baun

1927 - 2025

Roberta M. Baun, 98, of Falls Creek, PA, formerly of Punxsutawney, PA, died Monday, April 28, 2025, at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor.

Born on April 15, 1927, in Rossiter, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth (States) Lowmaster.

Roberta had been self-employed as a house cleaner in the DuBois, Brockway and Punxsutawney areas for over 60 years.

She enjoyed her flowers, pets and reading. Roberta arranged and promoted Southern Gospel music for 28 years throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, British Columbia and Canada.

Roberta is survived by her two sons, Kenneth Baun and his wife Gina of Overbrook, KS and Thomas Baun and his wife Kathy of Rossiter, PA; four grandchildren: Mark Walborn and his wife Marina, Marty Walborn and his wife Jeana, Kurtis Walborn and his wife Linda and Shane Baun and his wife Summer; a sister, Naomi Sherry; son-in-law, Gary Walborn; and daughter-in-law, Linda Baun; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her good friends, Gary and Dee Dee Krawzyk and Charlene Thompson.

She was preceded in death by one son, John Baun; one daughter, Kay Walborn; two brothers, Lloyd and Daniel Lowmaster; and one sister, Helen Lowmaster.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 4-7 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 11 a.m. from the Brockway Church of God, with Pastor David Nagele officiating.

Burial will take place in Union Cemetery in Rossiter, PA.
