Scott K. Cressman

Scott K. Cressman, 65, of DuBois, and formerly of New Bethlehem, passed away Saturday morning, August 16, 2025 at DuBois Regional Medical Center, following a battle with cancer.

Born July 3, 1960, in Brookville, he was a son of Harriet "Toot" Freeman Cressman and the late Walter A. "Sam" Cressman.

He was 1978 graduate of Redbank Valley High School where he was a member of the wrestling, football and golf teams.

Scott continued his education at the X-Ray Technician School at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, following with a career at DuBois Regional Medical Center as an x-ray tech and eventually heart catheterization lab tech.

He was a former member of the First Baptist Church in New Bethlehem, a fan of Penn State and Pittsburgh sports, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, cooking, and grilling, especially steak.

Scott is survived by his mother, Harriet "Toot" Cressman of New Bethlehem; son, Colby Cressman of Almira; daughter, Carli Cressman of Frostburg, Maryland; granddaughter, Briar; brother, Brian Cressman (Shari) of New Bethlehem, and his former wives: Tracie Hawk Gilliland and Brenda Miller Cressman.

He was preceded in death by his father in 2019; brother, Mark Cressman in 1967; paternal grandparents, William and Mary Morton, and maternal grandparents, Harry and Frances Freeman.

In honoring Scott's request, there will be no calling hours or services.

A celebration of Scott's life will be held at a later date, as yet to be determined.

Interment will take place in the New Bethlehem Cemetery.
