Sherry Dawn Stubbs, 54, of Beechtree Road, DuBois, PA, died on Sunday, July 11, 2021.

Born on May 30, 1967, in Falls Creek, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Linda Humble Cable.

Sherry was a 1985 graduate of Jeff Tech, where she studied cosmetology.

On May 14, 1988, she was married to Kelvin Stubbs and he survives.

Mostly Sherry was mainly a mother and a homemaker, but she did have her CDL license and enjoyed working as a team with her husband long haul trucking across the country. She was Methodist by faith. Sherry also enjoyed shopping, camping and spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by five children: Joleen (Joe) Sallo of Brockway; Katelin (Braden) Sallack of Charleston, SC; Kellee (Travis) Hale of DuBois; and Joseph and Colton Stubbs, both of DuBois; and her mother-in-law, Ella Mae Stubbs of Brockway. She is also survived by six grandchildren and her precious poodle Rory.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Joey Cable, and her father-in-law, Ronald E. Stubbs.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday, July 14 from 5-8 p.m. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 15 at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home,hh with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating.
