William Pietsch Obituary

William Charles (Billy) Pietsch III, 51, of Brockway, PA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Born on August 8, 1973, in New Brighton, PA, he was the son of Kathryn (Armanini) and William Pietsch Jr. of Brockway.

Billy was a loving son, father, brother and uncle. He attended DuBois Central High School and graduated in 1992 from Laurel High School (New Castle, PA area).

His main two passions in life were baseball and hunting. He was a member of both the 1990 DuBois Central High School District championship baseball team and the 1991 Laurel High School state quarter finalist baseball team.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his sister, Melissa Pietsch of Brockway; his children, Jaylen and Sierra Pietsch of Lock Haven, PA; and nephew, Justin Alwine of Brockway.

He was preceded in death by both his maternal grandparents, Norma and Robert Armanini; and paternal grandparents, Ann and William Pietsch of Pittsburgh, PA.

There will be no public visitation.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made in his name to The American Liver Association, PO Box 299, West Orange, NJ 07052.

The Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Billy and I grew up together as kids we met through Knothole in St Mary´s when he lived in St Mary´s his parents were like second parents to me he was like one of my best friends in school we were inseparable growing up until we hit 7th grade and he moved away it wasn´t until we reconnected via facebook we were supposed to get together he wanted me to meet his parents again and all of us reconnect I will miss you Billy and I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers throughout this difficult time if you all anything please let me know God bless you and comfort you all
