Brandon Lowder Obituary

Brandon Byron Lowder, 49, passed away Saturday afternoon May 17, 2025, at Reid Health in Richmond.

Brandon was born in Muncie, on June 1, 1975. He lived all his life in Henry County and grew up in the New Lisbon community and was a member of the New Lisbon Christian Church. Brandon graduated from Tri High School with the class of 1994. While in high school he participated in basketball, baseball and tennis. Brandon was a gifted musician who played the piano and was self-taught on the guitar. Brandon enjoyed competition and continued to be competitive and also provide a good role model to the youth by coaching AAU Girls' League Basketball, New Castle Optimist Boys' League Basketball and 7th grade boys' basketball at Tri. Brandon was all about family. He cherished the time he spent with his wife, Jennifer, their five children, Corey, Jalen, Madelyn, MacCallum and Rylie and was blessed to be "Branpa" to his grandson, Hendrix James. Brandon was owner/operator of Five Star Auto Detailing, enjoyed mowing lawns and helping others. If he had it, he would give it! He will be missed.

Survivors include his father, David Eugene Lowder; his wife of twenty-five years, the former Jennifer Leigh Neal. They were married at the New Lisbon Christian Church during a blizzard on March 11, 2000; five children, Corey (Kait) Lowder, Jalen Lowder, Madelyn Lowder, MacCallum Lowder and Rylie Lowder; "Branpa" of Hendrix James Lowder; brother, Jeremy Brooke (Christy) Miller; uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Brandon was preceded in death by his mother, Joy Ann (Shafer) Lowder on July 2, 2023, and a brother, Kent Allen Miller.

A memorial visitation will be from noon until the time to celebrate Brandon's life at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 at the New Lisbon Christian Church. Pastor Jonathan Willmore will officiate.
