Cindy Campbell Shelton, 71, of Kennard passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born November 17, 1950 in Anderson.
A 1970 graduate of Knightstown High School, Cindy worked for Tennant Chiropractic in Shirley for several years. A lover of people, she served as a Pastor's wife for many years and was a member of Kennard Baptist Church. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and was a member of the Kennard Elementary P.T.O. for over 30 years. She also enjoyed shopping, sewing, cross stitching, gardening and canning.
Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Susan Shelton of Kennard, Mark (Melissa) Shelton of New Castle, Matthew Shelton of Kennard and Sarah (Bobbie) Derrick of Kennard; five grandchildren, Caleb Holder, Mason and Maddie Shelton, Brantley and Beau Derrick; great grandson, Brandyn Mayhugh; her mother, Peggy Henderson of New Castle; two sisters, Sherre (Steve) Ellis of Fortville and Kelly Selke (Joe Adkins) of Greenfield; a brother, Kenny Henderson of Shirley; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends including best friend, Terri Smith of New Castle.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Danny Shelton, and her father, Ralph Henderson.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 4, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Brent Weaver officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the funeral home.

Sincere condolences to all the family and friends. Cindy was such a beautiful person inside and out. Loved getting together with her and Danny at our get-togethers, many held at the ole Kennard School. Fly high Cindy. I know you are in the arms of our Lord and Savior!
