Jan E. Marshall, 73, passed away May 3, 2025, into the light of eternity. She was born on March 5, 1952, in New Castle, Indiana, to John Williams and Betty (Williams) Ralston. She lived her life with passion and enthusiasm as if every day was her last. She was blessed to have the opportunity to travel with her son to many countries around the world.
Jan earned her undergraduate degree from Purdue University in 1974 and was extremely proud of earning her MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in 1999 at age 47. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as spending time with her son or taking long walks and deeply valued her friendship with a few close personal friends.
Jan always had a strong faith in God, attended Trinity Episcopal Church, and felt she was being guided through life by a stronger power.
She is survived by her son and good friend, Vincent N. Marshall, granddaughter Gracelyn, sister, Cindy (Lee) Evers; half-brother, Gary Williams, and step brother Ronnie (Jean) Ralston.
In celebration of her life, there will be a service at Trinity Episcopal Church. Contributions in Jan's memory may be made to the Guiding Eyes for the Blind, 611 Granite Springs Rd., Yorktown Heights, NY, 10598 (https://www.guidingeyes.org/).
