Keith Wayne Buck, 68, of Dunreith passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. He was born June 7, 1954 in Olive Hill, Kentucky, a son of the late William Carson and Ruby (Lyons) Buck.
He was a 1972 graduate of Tri High School and a longtime resident of Dunreith. Keith loved sports, especially the Colts. He also enjoyed basketball, golf, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and Corvettes. Keith enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Carrie Buck; sons, Henry (Nicci) Long of Wabash and Chris (Heather) Long of Muncie; daughter, Jennifer (Josh) Stigall of Mooreland; ten grandchildren, Jordan, Jaylan, Vadin, Christopher, Zalee, Owen, Jaxson, Emily, Jaci and Joslyn; brother, Bill (Brenda) Buck of Greenfield; sister, Helen Phelps of Spiceland; several nieces & nephews; and his fur babies Cash & Bella.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his stepmother, Betty Buck; sister, Karen Mummert; and a brother-in-law, Steve Phelps.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Tony Darling officiating. Burial will follow in Dunreith Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Association.
