Vincent Kinkade Obituary

Vincent Kinkade, 61, of Indianapolis, passed away June 27, 2023. He was born Aug. 7, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio, to Paul T. and Pamela S. Kinkade. Vincent was a 1979 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He received his Bachelor's degree from Hanover College in 1983, his Associate's degree from the New England Culinary Institute in 1985, and his MBA from the University of Indianapolis in 1996.

Vincent married Karla J. Biberstine, June 15, 1991. Vincent was a food service professional for 38 years. He was the former Program Chair of Hospitality Administration at Ivy Tech and the former Academic Dean at The Chef's Academy at Harrison College. He most recently served as the Food Service Director at our Lady of Fatima Retreat House.

Vincent was a longtime member of St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church and the Central Indiana Cursillo Community.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 3, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road, Fishers with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Karla B. Kinkade; children, Kacie M. (husband, Andrew J. Travis) Kinkade, Kevin M. Kinkade and Molly E. Kinkade; mother, Pamela S. Kinkade; and siblings, Kristen K. (Craig) Nelson, Carlyle A. (Jack) Barnard, Kyle E. Kinkade, Patrick O. (Catie) Kinkade and Katherine A. (David) Paulus. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Paul T. Kinkade.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Fatima Retreat House, 5353 E. 56th St., Indianapolis, IN 46226 and/or Central Indiana Cursillo Community, c/o Martin J. Van Der Burg, Treasurer, 3280 Waverly Dr., Richmond, IN 47374.
