Millville - Andrew Gerald Kim Nugent, 34, of Millville, our beautiful boy who departed this life too soon, leaves behind a legacy of love and friendship. Born on January 18, 1987, his next journey began on August 20, 2021.

Andrew was born in South Korea. With the help of Holt International Adoption Agency, he came home to his loving family at the age of 3 months. Andrew was a lifelong student of Millville Public Schools and a 2005 graduate of Millville Senior High School. He also attended Cumberland County College. Throughout his life, Andrew enjoyed the sport of gymnastics, participating in many tri- state meets as well as competing in regional competitions. In addition to gymnastics, Andrew played soccer, was a skilled drummer and enjoyed listening to all types of music. He was a talented, self taught artist. To say that he enjoyed gaming would be an understatement! Over the years, Andrew turned his love and passion for food into a career as a local chef in several area restaurants. He shared his skills and passion for cooking at The Red Eyed Crab in Port Norris and most recently at Old Oar House Irish Pub in Millville.

Andrew is the beloved son of Terry and Beth (Hoskins) Nugent and brother to Rachel (Gabriel). Andrew was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Wilma Nugent, his maternal grandparentsGerald and Mary Hoskins, and his uncle Jim Nugent. Also left to mourn his memory are his Aunts and Uncles: Gary and Andrea (Nugent) Bullock, Diane (Trabuchi) Nugent, David and Mechele (Hoskins) Forsman, Mark and Laurie (Hoskins) Brelsford, and Ted and Susan (Hoskins) Noble. Cousins: Chris Bullock, Greg and Tim Nugent, Jessica (Alan) Todd, Alex Forsman, Matthew (Erin) and Mary Kate Brelsford, Morgan (Kurt) and Collin Noble. Also grieving his loss are a wide circle of friends, as well as many others who became his chosen family. His love of animals includes his cherished dogs, Sadie and Benji.

Funeral services are under the direction of Barr Funeral Home, 2104 East Main Street, Millville. In deference to COVID protocol and family health issues, the family is offering a walk through only visitation on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 9 am-12 pm. Masks are required. Services will be private.
