Anne Dantinne (Chrin), 88, of Cecil passed away peacefully at home Tuesday, July 6, 2010.
Anne was born July 11, 1921, in Frackville, Pa., to the late Stephen Chrin and Teckla (Kohudic) Chrin. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, David Dantinne Sr.; four sons, Richard (Linda) of Ocean City, David (Carol) of Richwood, Stephen (Karen) of Pilesgrove and William (Tanoa) of Vineland; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind two brothers, George Sinitsky (Jean) of Woodbury, and William Sinitsky (Valentina) of Frackville, Pa. She was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, Stephen and John Chrin.
Anne was raised in Frackville, Pa. She and David were married in 1944, and spent 10 years in Salem before moving to Cecil, where they owned and operated Anne & Dave's Motel for 30 years. They enjoyed sharing their retirement years in their Cecil, Florida and Ocean City homes.
Anne will be remembered as a hardworking, loving woman, who always put her family first. She was a member of St. Nicholas Eastern Orthodox Church in Philadelphia and a frequent parishioner of Orthodox Church of the Mother of God in Mays Landing, both of which she loved. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards with her friends and, most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A viewing for family and friends will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday with a service at 10 a.m. at Farnelli Funeral Home, 504 N. Main St., Williamstown. Interment will follow at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Nicholas Eastern Orthodox Church, 817 N. Seventh St., Philadelphia, PA 19123; or Orthodox Church of the Mother of God, 115 Hudson St., Mays Landing, NJ 08330.

May God offer comfort as you mourn the loss of Anne. I remember her from visits to Dr. Brodsky when I was a very young girl.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in their time of grief. At times like these, 'God can give us "power beyond what is normal," so we can keep going from one day to the next. (2 Corinthians 4:7) I hope this will bring the family a measure of comfort.
