Arthur Franckle

Millville - Arthur Owen Franckle, Artie (Pop) age 81, peacefully joined his loving wife, Judy, of 57 years this past Thursday, January 28th.

Artie was born on September 12, 1939 in Millville, NJ to Arthur and Adelia Franckle. He lived in Millville his entire life. He was a supervisor at Foster Forbes for many years until he retired in 1995. He married Wanda "Judy" (Varesio) in February 1958. Together they raised three children who will miss him dearly.

Artie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed watching horse racing and football, playing horseshoes, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to Florida. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his ability to make anyone laugh.

He was predeceased by his wife Judy, sister Barbara Kessler, brother Robert (Bob) Franckle, and beloved dog of 14 years, Cricket. He is survived by his three children, John, Jeff (Brenda), and DeAnne (Ellsworth Riley Jr.}, his four grandchildren Jeffrey (Krystie), Matthew (Jennifer), Devin (Jimmy Church), Ellie, Megan Ahlquist (Tim), and Melissa McCafferty. Also his 9 great-grandchildren Julianna, Kinsley, Hannah, Cole, RyleeAnne, Sawyer, Hunter, Cali, and Asher.

The memorial service will be private and the convenience of the family.
