Cheryl C. Engstrom

Cheryl Christine (Brooks) Engstrom, age 70 of Millville, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her close friends on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. She had been in declining health over the last year.
Born in Burlington, Vermont to the late Charles and Lucille (Bouchard) Brooks, Cheryl grew up in Philadelphia and then moved to South Jersey at a young age. In her later years, she resided in Arizona for eleven years before recently moving to Millville.
Cheryl worked as a Machine Operator at Kimble / Gerrisheimer Glass Inc. in Vineland for over 32 years, and retired.
Cheryl loved reading all types of books. She also enjoyed watching TV, especially criminal mystery shows like NCIS and the cooking shows on PBS. One of Cheryl's favorite pastimes was traveling with her friends to the Jersey Shore to places like Wildwood, Cape May, and especially Ocean City. She truly cherished the time that she was able to share with her dear friends.
Cheryl will be sadly missed by her loving companion and caregiver, Len Koscianski of Millville; one daughter Melanie B. Hudgins and husband Michael of Vineland; one son Matthew J. Engstrom of Delaware; one grandson Joshua Hudgins; one great-granddaughter Sage Hudgins; and many other dear friends.
A heartfelt thank you would like to be expressed to the nurses and staff of Bayada @ Inspira Home Health for all of the expert care and extraordianry kindness given to Cheryl during such a difficult time.
Services for Cheryl will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Christy Funeral Home, Millville.
