Erin Dobson Obituary
AGE: 32 • Millville
Erin Drew Dobson passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2016. Erin was born December 4, 1984 in Vineland, N.J. but lived her whole life in Millville, N.J. where she graduated from Millville Senior High School with honors in 2003. Erin was a Girl Scout and played in the school band. She was a member of the Gifted and Talented program where she won the Congressional Bronze and Silver Medals for academic excellence. Erin attended Rutgers, Camden and graduated in 2009 with a BA in history. During her junior year at Rutgers she traveled to Egypt and Jordan with a group of classmates.
Erin was certified as a pharmacy technician and worked as a client relations liaison for a major pharmaceutical company for over five years. She was an accomplished baker and cake decorator. In 2016, she became co-owner of Bogart's Books and Café where she worked as store manager.
Erin had a true and abiding love of travel and was a confirmed history buff. Accordingly, one of her favorite activities was visiting presidential homes and estates of which she had visited twenty-two. However, her favorite place to visit was Disney World.
Erin is survived by her mother Sara, her father Donald, her boyfriend Aaron Sloan, aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. She will be fondly remembered by her best friends Jeff Blikos and Kelly Martin and her treasured pets Mustache and Weezie. Erin will be sadly missed but never forgotten by all who loved her.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, 22 North High Street, Millville at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 8th, 2017. The family is requesting that donations be made to the Millville Development Corporation's Art Creates Excellence Program at the same address in lieu of flowers.

Erin was one on my Brownies, in a troop that I co-leaded. She was also a pediatric patient of mine at Dr. Henderson's office. Mostly, I will always remember her, as the little girl around the corner, and good friend of my daughter, Lisa. My heart aches for Sara. I can't imagine this grief. RIP Sweet Girl.

What can I say...she was a gem. I had some great conversations at the shop..she was always very caring and treated you like you were the only one in the book store when talking with her. I know we shared a love for the Beatles...and she shared her knowledge with me..and i with her. She wont be forgotten because she was a giver..a young person but an ol soul.Erin keep up the good work as u watch over us. God bless her.
