Hannibal R. Delvecchio, 99, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011.
Hannibal was born in Philadelphia and was a lifelong resident of Franklinville. He liked cars, and was always tinkering with and babying his Cadillac. He was also fond of Indian Motorcycles. He built his home by himself, and still has an artisan well.
Hannibal enjoyed listening to the radio and watching the Franklin Township Little League.
Husband of the late Rose M. Delvecchio (Barnabei). Brother of Lillian Bermender of Madison, Ala., Minnie Vignola of Glassboro, Nina Midili of Paulsboro, and the late Rocco, Joseph, and Nick Delvecchio and Connie D'Amico, and Yolanda Warner. Brother-in-law of Marie Delvecchio of Clayton. Also survived by his loving caregivers, Raymond and Theresa Resino; close friends, David and Anna Radich; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Barclay Funeral Home, 208 Maple St., Clayton, NJ. Funeral Service at 11 a.m. the funeral home. Interment Saint Bridget's Cemetery Glassboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made in his memory to Vitas Hospice, 18 Laurel Road., 3 East, Stratford, NJ 08084.
