Harry Guy Obituary
AGE: 64 • Millville
Harry L. "Bucky" Guy Jr., 64, of Millville, died at home on Friday night after a brief illness. Bucky was born in Harvey, West Virginia, and always enjoyed going "home" for visits. Bucky has been an auto mechanic for over 50 years, having started working on cars as a teenager. His love of automobiles provided him a lifelong career, working for Shone's Auto Body, working as an independent mechanic, and for many years working for, Quality Lincoln Mercury. Bucky enjoyed his family, but his best buddy and great grandson; Joey was the love of his life. They enjoyed the annual trips to Disney World, and building with Lego's. They also shared of love of cars and trains, and would play for hours on the floor, laying out the train track design and racing cars. As Bucky's health started to fail, Patricia Camp and Kathy Gragg have provided constant loving care to maintain his quality of life, and the family is truly appreciative.
He is survived by: wife, Martha at home; daughter, Jamie Guy and Alfred; step sons, Wesley Camp Jr. of Millville, Roy Camp of Millville, Bobby Camp of Florida; brother, David Guy and Anita; sisters, Carolyn Wade and Charles, Jean Gragg and Daniel; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Bucky was pre-deceased by his parents, Harry L. Sr., and Helen Guy, and a nephew, Daniel "Gator" Gragg Jr.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11am in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday night from 6-8pm and again on Thursday at the funeral home from 10am until 11am. Gone but never forgotten. Bucky was a wonderful man. I haven't seen him for awhile but I will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
