Dr. Jaime Joaquin Portalatin, 79, of Vineland died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010.
He was the beloved husband of Victoria A. Portalatin; father of Jaime J. Portalatin of Swedesboro, Eugenio Portalatin of Vineland, Maria Victoria Vinci of Franklin Lakes and Diana Davies of Oneota, N.Y.; and grandfather of five.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Feb. 6 at Devine Mercy Church, 23 W. Chestnut Ave., Vineland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to George Dendrinos, M.D., Steven Cohn, M.D., their staff, and the ICU nurses and staff at South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Vineland.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dr. Portalatin may be made to the American Red Cross-Haiti Relief Fund, P.O. Box 37234, Washington, D.C. 20013; (800) REDCROSS; www.redcross.org.
