James Spencer Obituary

James Spencer

Millville - James Spencer, 73, of Cumberland County passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 at Inspira Medical Center. He was born in Mount Holly and raised in Chambers Corner. James graduated from Northern Burlington Regional High School. After high school James was drafted in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked as a tailor and shoe fitter at Fort Dix Military Base for many years. James attended Faith Bible Church. His favorite pastime was fishing, playing the guitar, and spending most of his time with family.

James is survived by his wife of 52 years Jeanne (Burkhardt) Spencer, daughter Tracie Spencer (David Hill III), son Robert Spencer, granddaughters Brittney and Briana Hill, grandson David Hill the fourth, great grandchild Alani Hunter, mother Ruth Johnson, brothers Robert Spencer (Doreen), Ken Spencer (Robin), and the boys his Yorkies Chip and Dale. He was predeceased by his father Clifford Spencer.

Relatives and friends will be received Saturday, August 7 at Faith Bible Church, 3139 E. Chestnut Ave, Vineland, NJ 08361 from 10:30 to 12:00 pm. A funeral service and military honors will be held at 12:00 pm. To e-mail condolences, please visit www.pancoastfuneralhome.com
