Jeff B. Dooley, 79, of Upper Deerfield Township, died peacefully at his home early Friday morning, December 6, 2013. He was born in Biscoe, Arkansas and was the son of the late H.H. and Viola Flannery Dooley. He was drafted and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict in 1952 and had been a resident of Upper Deerfield Twp. since 1959. He retired from the Salem Nuclear Power Plant in 1994 and was a member of Local 322 Pipe Fitters Union.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Brann Dooley, his three children, Linda Connelly (Kenny Sr.), Janice Dooley (Dominick Parillo) and Alan Dooley (Georgeanna); two stepchildren, Bobby Jackson (Brenda) and Shawn Jackson; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Comer, C. David Krawiec, Joseph Anderson, Alison Foldetta, Jeff Dooley, Erik Anderson, R.J. Parillo, Dominick Parillo and Kenny Connelly, Jr. and a great-grandchild, Mia Burton. He is also survived by two brothers, Teddy Dooley (Ann) and Carl Dooley (Norma); a sister, Peggy Jackson (Melvin) and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 40 years, Ethel Goodwin Dooley, a brother, Oliver Dooley, a daughter in law, Barbara Dooley and two grandchildren, Ryan Anderson and Tyler Dooley.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. on Wednesday, December 11th at 11 AM. Friends will be received from 9:30 to 11 AM prior to the services. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions in Jeff's memory be made to the NJ Korean War Veterans Memorial Fund, Inc., 10301 McKinstry Mill Road, New Windsor, MD 21776.
