Jerry use to do me (Keven)and my sisters Mia and Monica's Jehri Curls for over twenty years. We had many great conversations over the years. I use to love watching the old blk/white movies on his TV, while my hair dripped in the sink. He use to call us the Jehri curl girls. Then I had my own daughters and he continued to do ours as well. He never kept his wealth of knowledge to himself. He eventually talked me through the process of how to do a curl and needless to say; I began doing my own. He was a family man, who loved his wife, son, daughter in law, his granddaughter and great-grandchild. He will certainly be missed. He was a fine Christian, business man and friend.

Vera, I am sorry for your great loss. Jerry was a very special and caring person and was well respected in our community. He served as a positive role model to other couples through his devotion to his family and service to the Lord. May God comfort and keep you and give you the encouragement that you have shared with others over the years. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
