Jim McCauley Obituary
East Vineland - Jim "Derek" McCauley, Jr., 37, of East Vineland, NJ passed away on Monday evening December 4, 2017. Derek was born in Vineland, NJ and was a lifelong area resident.
Jim was one of a kind. He was witty, creative, strong and motivated. He worked harder than most, but always made time to have coffee in the trees or take the dogs for a run. His skills as a craftsman and as a musician were beyond comparison as was his love for his family and his pups. He was a graduate of BRHS class of 1999 and the owner operator of Big Wood Construction.
He is predeceased by his mother Dynetta (Fiori), maternal grandparents Bob and Doris Fiori, and paternal grandfather Archie Lee McCauley. He is survived by his fiancée, Sara Miller; Daughter, Megan, always his little girl; Father and step mother, Jim Sr. and Donna McCauley; Paternal Grandmother, Jan (nee VanKraanen); Aunt Jill McCauley & Butch Stepan, Uncles: Bob, Lou & Joe Fiori along with many cousins, extended family, and countless friends.
Relatives & friends will be received on Tuesday 12/12 from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ where his funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Vineland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Funny Farm Rescue Animal Sanctuary, 6908 Railroad Blvd., Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
