Michael Terruso Obituary
Vineland - Michael A. Terruso Jr. 34 of Vineland passed away suddenly on Monday April 23, 2018. Born in Vineland, he was the son of Michael A. Sr. and Jean (Baruffi) Terruso. Michael was a graduate of Vineland High School Class of 2002 and Stockton University where he earned a Bachelor`s degree in Economics. Michael was an appraiser for MT Appraisals and the Owner/Operator of Barbells and Boxing. Michael had a passion for boxing, powerlifting, and CrossFit and shared that love with others through coaching and training. His passion will forever live on through his Barbells and Boxing family. Besides his parents he is survived by his paternal grandfather Paul F. Terruso; grandmothers, Louise Terruso, and Corinne Baruffi; his sister and brother-in-law Melissa and Michael Gualtieri nephew Gino Gualtieri and niece Carlina Gualtieri, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and several godchildren. Michael was predeceased by his grandfather Gino Baruffi. A funeral home visitation will be held on Sunday from 12pm to 3pm at Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ. A memorial service will begin at 3:30 pm from New Italy American Society, 1194 Panther Road, Vineland. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Michael`s memory be made to: Cumberland County SPCA, 1244 N. Delsea Dr., Vineland, NJ 08360; American Cancer Society, P.O Box 22478 Oklahoma OK 73123 or St. Jude Children`s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Michael was a kind and beautiful person.
I will always remember him as a leader, friend and trainer and respect him for his amazing talent to help others reach their goals in the gym. This is a great loss to many who knew him and for those who had yet to meet him. My heart felt condolences to Michaels family and closest friends.
I will miss him dearly.

Mike.... today I thought of you when I lifted. I wanted to sit down and cry, but I decided to just go harder. You would have preferred sweat running down my face, not tears. You continue to leave an impact always, because you were just that awesome.
