Patricia Craven Obituary
AGE: 72 • Voorhees
On November 3, 2015 Patricia Ann "Pat" (nee Jones) died peacefully after a long illness.
She was the loving and devoted wife of Robert L. "Bob" Craven. Loving mother of Patricia (Joe) Flanagan, Donna (Dave) Schuman, Robert (Michelle) Welker, Cheryl Koehler, John (Millie) Welker. Loving grandmother of 23 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and the late Angel Faith Jenison. Also survived by many loving friends. Pat was the owner for many years of Pat's Florist in the Chewslanding Mall. She then went on to receive her GED and earned a 4.0 GPA in college and was the founder of the Honor Society at Gloucester County College. She worked in Special Education at a number of different schools. Pat was sponsored by the EIRC and traveled throughout the state teaching parenting and children education. After a severe brain injury, Pat became a photographer and published inspirational journals, "Messages From the Heart". Her work has been shown in 7 different galleries and she became a recipient of many different awards. Pat was a member and counselor of WAR (Women against Rape), and worked as a substance abuse counselor for many years. Pat truly was an advocate to many.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday afternoon 1pm to 3pm followed by funeral services 3pm at the: ORA L. WOOSTER FUNERAL HOME, 51 Park Blvd., Clementon, NJ 08021. Family and friends will gather on Monday morning 10am at Berlin Cemetery for interment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Share memories at OraLWoosterFuneralHome.com.

My deepest condolences to Bob and the family. Pat was a wonderful person and had many words of wisdom. She was a great life long friend to my mother and when my mom was ill we had heartfelt conversations. I will remember her always.

I met Pat at the Hammonton Arts Center. She always made me feel welcome and loved her sense of humor. Her spirituality did shine, and will always shine as an angel.

Pat was a valued member of the Hammonton Arts Center and a true friend.
A prolific artist she continually worked to improve herself as a photographer and a person, setting an example for so many others.
She will be greatly missed.
