Paul Sterchele Obituary
Vineland - Paul F. Sterchele, Sr., 87, of Vineland, NJ passed away on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at home where he had been under the care of family & hospice. Paul was born and raised in Vineland where he remained a lifelong city resident. He was the son of the late Mary (Simoni) & Candido Sterchele.
Paul was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School Class of 1952. Paul farmed with his father and continued farming until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the Vineland Produce Auction and the North Italy Beneficial Association. Paul enjoyed watching the Phillies and spending time at his home in Sea Isle City. He never met a stranger and especially loved socializing with friends along the promenade in Sea Isle City. He will be greatly missed.
Paul is survived by his wife of 61 years; Estelle (Dalponte), sons Paul F. Sterchele Jr. (Jackie) of Flemington, NJ and Daniel J. Sterchele (partner Michael Reitz) of Woodland Hills, CA, and his sister Gloria Sterchele Smith of Loveland, OH. He is also survived by many beloved nieces & nephews.

Heart felt condelences to Stella and the family. I had the wondeful experience of meeting Paul and Stella on a two week trip to Italy back in 2009. It was great to sit on the plane right next to both of them as we watched the screen show us where we were in our flight to visit Italy. What a great time we all had on the trip to Tuscany for two weeks. Paul was such a gentelman with such a great spirit and kind heart. I am so grateful that I was able to spend time with Stella and Paula on that wonderful trip. May your family memories bring you peace during this most difficult time.

We are very sorry to hear of the passing of Paul. He was the first person we met when moving to Vineland 20 years ago. Greeting up with a big smile and a firm handshake. He became a friend instantly and he and Stella became the best neighbors we ever had. Rest easy Paul and our deepest sympathies to you Stella and your family.

A gentleman that will be truly missed , my Uncle Buddy (Dauito) introduced me to Paul back when I was just a kid, so for me personally the market was like family and much of it actually was. My condolences to the friends and family , may the Lord lift you're hearts in this time of sadness.
