Robert F. Adams 58, of Port Norris died Sunday morning at Jefferson University Medical Center in Philadelphia. Born in Vineland he was the son of Barbara Perry Adams and the late Edward L. Adams. Bob was a lifetime resident of Port Norris. He was a 1975 graduate of Millville High School where he lettered in Baseball, he received his Associates of Science at Cumberland County College and then attended Rowan University and played baseball as well. He retired from the Morie Company in Mauricetown and also worked at Ricci Bros and Dept. of Corrections. He was an avid member of the First United Methodist Church in Millville, and Ricci Bros Gunning Club. Bob enjoyed hunting, ping pong, golf, farming, sitting on his back deck drinking his homemade wine and most importantly spending time with his family.

Surviving are his mother, Barbara Adams of Port Norris, children, Wesley Adams and his wife Kiersten of Millville, Christie Dunham and her husband Jeff of Cedarville, Bobbi Jo Adams and her husband Declan of Philadelphia, Rachel Adams at home and Brittney Adams of Vineland, brothers, Edward Adams and his wife Kelly and Frederick Adams and his wife Sheila all of Millville, grandchildren, Sarah, Jeffrey, Patrick, Grace, Jamie and Olivia. Bob was predeceased by his wife Terri Lynn Adams and grandmother Mildred Perry.

A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Port Norris Main St. & North Ave. Port Norris on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Haleyville Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church.
