Robert J. "Robbie" Zapar

Vineland - Robert J. "Robbie" Zapar, 35, of Vineland, NJ passed away suddenly on Thursday March 15, 2018. Robbie was born & raised in Vineland where he was a longtime resident. He was pre deceased by his beloved K-9 companion Peyton, father John Zapar, Maternal grandfathers; (Ret) Sgt. Gene Smith & Paul J. Gillespie, Sr.

Robbie was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School Class of 2001. He worked in several jobs before finding his niche as an Electrician for the Landis Sewage Authority whom his co-workers were like a second family to him. His life revolved around his dog Peyton, his nephews and niece and setting up his new home.

He is survived by his parents; Sandy & Paul J. Gillespie, Jr. Brother; Jaime Zapar & Crystal Madkiff, Sister's; Amanda Gillespie, Laura Sikking & husband Chris, Nephews; Brycen, Dalton & Niece Addison, Maternal grandmothers; Sandra Smith & Brigita Gillespie, Paternal grandparents; Alexander & Frances Zapar as well as many Aunts, Uncles & Cousins.

Relatives & friends will be received on Friday evening from 6:00-8:30 PM & again on Sat from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ where his funeral service will be conducted at 10 AM. Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart R.C. Cemetery, Vineland, NJ. For those who wish, memorial contribution may be made to the Animal Clinic of Millville, 2430 W. Main St., Millville, NJ 08332. Aunt Sandy and Jaime,
I will miss all of my memories with Robbie! I enjoyed being cousins with him. He will surely be missed. He is now forever in the presence of Peyton, Uncle John (his Dad), my Dad (John Hepner) and so many other relatives and friends. I can't even begin to understand the pain and sadness. I love you both forever!
