Rosario Ramos Obituary
Vineland - Our beloved mother, Rosario Cruz Ramos, 81, of Vineland, NJ passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at home after an extended illness. Mrs. Ramos was born and raised in Utuado, Puerto Rico and has resided in the city of Vineland since 1962. She was the daughter of the late Maria Alvida Salas- Bermudez and Juan Ramon Cruz. She was pre deceased by her late husband Jose Luis Ramos, Sr in 1997, brothers Reinaldo Cruz, Jose Cruz, sister Maria Dolores and grandson Alexander Ramos.
Mrs. Ramos, lovingly known to her family and friends as "Mama Saro", was a full-time wife, mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to her children, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all of her family whom were her pride and joy. In addition to caring for her family "Mama Saro" enjoyed the simplest pleasures in life. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met, and left a loving and lasting impression with everyone that she came across.
"Mama Saro" loved spending time in the kitchen cooking delicious meals and creating memorable moments for her family at gatherings and friendly get togethers. Times that she cherished as it brought everyone together.
"Mama Saro" is survived by her 9 children and their spouses; Luis Oscar, Juan Ramon (Aida), Abraham (Marisol), Jose Luis, Jr. (Elizabeth), Damari Asencio (Phil), Maribet Hassen (Bill), Marisol, Rolando, Rebecca (Dorie); 21 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren. Along with her children she is survived by 14 siblings, Ana Cruz, Manuel Cruz (Basilia), Eliezer Cruz (Elizabeth), Eloy Cruz (Carmen), Maria Alvarado (Rolando), Samuel Bermudez (Norberto), Anibal Bermudez, Abraham Bermudez (Aida), Blasina Brea, Miriam Lopez, Blanca Cruz (Jose), Nereida Lamboy, Adalberto Cruz and Gloria Sanabria.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday evening, August 24, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00pm & again on Wednesday August 25th from 10:00-11:00 am at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd.
