Rose Ciappa Obituary
Vineland - Rose M. "Rosie" (Russo) Ciappa of Vineland went to be the Lord June 4, 2021. She lived 97 wonderful years. Rosie was a wonderful cook and baker. She was self taught in knitting and crochet and she enjoyed making blankets and slippers for people. Rosie dropped out of school in 8th grade to care for her siblings. She also sang for money to support her family in her youth. She was able to see, hold and watch all her great-grandchildren grow. Rosie worked at Kontes Glass for many years. She is survived by her son-in-law, Richard Pepe; sister, Irene Schiereck; grandchildren, Candice (Pepe) & Dale Schwed, Dana (Pepe) & Jonathan Consalo, and Rich & Carol (Dickenson) Pepe; and her seven great-grandchildren, Israel, Jakob, Joshua, Isabella, Cassandra, Sophia & Richie. Rosie was predeceased by her husband, Frank Ciappa; daughter, Virginia Pepe; parents, Salvador & Rena (Patrone) Russo and her four siblings. The funeral home requests that you wear a mask and social distance. A funeral home visitation will be held on Monday, June 7, 2021 from 10 am to 11:30 am followed by a funeral service at 11:30 am, from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Pompeii Cemetery, Vineland. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland, NJ 08360.
