Sorrel SHERMAN Obituary

SHERMAN, Sorrel (nee Sher)
Peacefully, on Friday, March 7, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Saul for sixty-three years. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Brenda and Avi Rabinovitch, Ruth and Shaul Petel, Marla and David Bart, Mark and Shelley Sherman. Cherished Bubby of Ahuva and Jay, Esther and David, and Dan; Yonatan and Caroline, Oren and Marina, Yaacov and Leah, and Dara; Laura, Eric, Melissa, and Elizabeth; Roni, Andy, and Mimi. Proud great- grandmother of Akiva, Zahava, Ezra, and Noa. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Carol and the late William Sher, the late Avrom and the late Marla Sher, Sam and Cynthia Sher. Sister-in- law of the late Rose and the late Michael Weintraub, Sarah Kier, Molly and the late Martin Feldman, Carol Hubert and the late Ralph Sherman. Sorrel will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to her beloved companions Shant, Evelyn and Eliza, and to the staff of 4C at the Jewish Eldercare Centre for their exceptional care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, March 10 at 12 noon. Burial at the Beth Ora Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her daughter Ruth's residence. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Beth Ora Congregation, (514) 748-6559.
