Terry Claypool Obituary
AGE: 60 • Pittsgrove
Terry L. Claypool, age 60, of Pittsgrove, passed away suddenly, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 23rd, 2015 in Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia. Terry was born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania to the late Fred H. and Elizabeth C. (Shaw) Claypool and lived in Pittsgrove all his life. He graduated from Vineland High School Class of 1973. Terry was owner and operator of TLC Auto Repair of Newfield for over 20 years. He was a member of N.H.R.A. (Drag Racing Association). His passions included Drag Racing, WWE Wrestling, music and he was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast.
Terry was predeceased by his sister, Judith Ann Hullihen in 1979. Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Ramona (Pontelandolfo) of Pittsgrove. Sister, Belva Bergamo and her husband Joseph of Vineland, two nieces, Elizabeth Mazzeo and her husband Robert of Williamstown and Alicia Casper and her husband Albert of Newport, two great-nephews, Adam and Jake and one great-niece, Malayna, all at home. Brother-in-law, Michael Pontelandolfo (Gwen), sister-in-law, Miriam Pontelandolfo, all of Pittsgrove and several close friends, aunts, uncles and cousins, especially cousins Darla and John. Also, special feline companion "Timmy".
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 28th 2015 at 10:00 AM from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Willow Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pittsgrove. Visiting hours are Thursday, 7:00-9:00 PM and again on Friday 9:00-10:00 AM at the funeral home. I was so shocked to hear about my dear friend Terry.
I just went to visit him at the garage a few weeks ago.
He was a great guy and I really will miss him. I have many fond memories of all of the conversations and laughs we use to have. My sincere condolences to his family.
All of his friends will miss him so much!
We at the WVLT radio family knew him well, he always came on my show as my guest and shared his wisdom of cars and car maintenance.
I wanted to attend his funeral but no one told me when it was.
I use to kid him about that, I would say there are going to be so many people at his funeral and hardly anyone at mine, and he would laugh. He was so loved and had so many friends.
We will miss you Terry! You were a great friend!
And you always listened in to the station. You were a dedicated friend.

Terry was one of the "good guys". I knew him from drag racing. I considered him to be more than a acquaintance, He was a friend! He would call an shoot the breeze from time to time. I would like to extend my sympathy to the family.
