Wilfredo Almodovar, 48, of Vineland died Friday, Aug. 26, 2011.
Born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, Wilfredo loved to spend time with his family, especially his nephew. He enjoyed music, nature, and taking long walks on the beach.
Wilfredo is predeceased by his father, Luis Almodovar; and his brother, Luis Almodovar Jr.
He is survived by his mother, Monina Almodovar of Vineland; sister, Damaris Rodriguez and husband Edward of Vineland; children, Dante Morris and Jonas Almodovar, both of Vineland, and Jasmine Almodovar of Rhode Island; companion of 15 years, Dotti Pierce of Vineland; seven grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
A funeral service will be held Friday evening during the viewing at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 1019 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. Family and friends will be received Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

i first met wilfredo in the fifth grade at the reber school. i remember he once said,"the planets facinate me." He was a caring human being. may he find his peace and my heart goes out to the family especially his mom. sincerely ,wilfredo gonzales an old school friend
