Paul Roberts Obituary

Paul J. Roberts, 68, of Quincy, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his home. He was born December 3, 1952 in Toledo to Norbert (Mierzwiak) and Virginia (Duty) Roberts. He married Melvina "Zippy" Szymanski and she survives.

Paul graduated from Bowsher High School in Toledo and was retired from Jack Cooper Transport where he was a car hauler for over 35 years. Paul loved NASCAR, golfing, water skiing and in his earlier years, riding dirt bikes.

Surviving besides his wife of nearly 44 years, Zippy are three sons, Justin (Amy) Roberts, Nathan (Cheri) Roberts and Aaron (Chris) Roberts; grandchildren, Colin Tabitha and Oliver; and brothers, Tom (Kathy) Roberts, Ted (Shelly) Roberts and Jeff (Trese) Roberts.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be no services or calling hours for Paul Roberts at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
