Carrie Marie Harvey, 47, died peacefully in the arms of her husband at their home in Maryville, TN on Thursday, May 19, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Carrie was born on January 18, 1975, in Royal Oak, Michigan. A graduate of Conner High School in Hebron, Kentucky she married the love of her life, Christopher Harvey, on October 4, 1997. Carrie graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2008 with her bachelors. She worked as an administrative assistant for Oak Ridge High School in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Carrie was a loving mother and devoted wife. She filled her time with photography, cooking and reading, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family and supporting her girls. She always had a smile of her face and was always ready for a good laugh. Carrie is preceded in death by her mother, Jeanetta Marie Marsh and her maternal grandmother, Mary Marie Smith. Carrie is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Harvey; daughters Emilee Marie Harvey and Mackenzie Lynn Harvey; parents Kevin and Alana Marsh; brother Justin Grady Marsh and sister Leah Jean Girbert. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm with a Celebration of Carrie's life to follow at 2:00 pm in the Trinity chapel with Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. The family and friends will assemble at 11:00 am Monday, May 23, 2022 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service.
