Doris Earlene McDonell

Born: December 19, 1942 | Died: July 15, 2025

Doris Earlene McDonell, age 82, of Maryville, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Maryville on December 19, 1942 to Ruth Elizabeth Hutsell and Cecil Edward Hutsell. Doris married her sweetheart Robert Allen McDonell on June 23, 1962. Doris had a long career as a talented hairdresser.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, three sisters, and many beloved pets. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert; daughters Amy (Joe) Wood and Traci McDonell; grandchildren Mikayla (Alex) Wood-Cornelius and Nicholas Wood; sister Bobbi Dishman; brother-in-law Jimmy (Wanda) McDonell; many other family and friends; and her special cat BooBoo.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Springview Baptist Church; a memorial service will follow at 7:00pm. Family and friends will gather at Williamson Chapel Cemetery at 2:00pm on Sunday, July 20, 2025 for interment. [email protected]
