Jerry Yares Obituary

Jerry Richard Yares Jerry R. Yares, age 88, of Maryville, passed away Monday, May 20, 2024 at Asbury Place of Maryville, He was born and raised in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. After high school he enlisted in the US Navy for three years as a court reporter. Jerry graduated from the University of Wisconsin. He then worked at SC Johnson Wax for eleven years. He retired as an Accounting Professor at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL. Preceded in death by: parents, Jerry and Hilda Yares; sister, Katherine Yares. Survivors include: wife Rhea Yares; sons and daughters-in-law Jim and Pam Yares of CA and John and Bree Yares of the Seattle area; two grandchildren, Alex and Amanda.
