Margaret Snyder Obituary
She was a native of McMinn County and was a daughter of the late Seab William and Linda Hunt Blair. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Susan McDowell; father-in-law, Robert Snyder; sister-in-law, Jeanie Blair; niece, Brandi Blair; nephew, Aaron McDowell.
She was a beloved daughter, devoted mother of two and loyal wife of 40 years.
Never a more generous, caring, or forgiving person, before or since, has graced this earth. Heaven gained an angel of grace and the earth lost a guiding light. She has gone ahead to prepare for the rest of us a more perfect life in heaven.
She is survived by her husband, Bradley Snyder; two sons, Benjamin and Steven Snyder; brothers, Bill Blair and Artie Blair; sisters, Deborah Pilcher, Darlene (Gary) Garrett, Donna Belincky, and Marvelene Blair; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 29, 2025 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Palmer officiating. The committal service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 30, 2025 at McMinn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
