Born: August 25, 1940 | Died: November 2, 2025

Mary Ann Dukes, 85 of Maryville, Tennessee passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025. She was born on August 25, 1940 in Franklin County Mississippi. She had a love of picnics in Cades Cove, camping, flower arranging and cooking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

She kept everyone going with her sense of humor and laughter and will be missed by many, she loved everyone unconditionally.

Preceded in death by her parents, Rev Archie and Myrtle Ezell; daughter, Joyce Dukes; brothers, Grady Ezell, Ken Ezell, Rudolph Ezell and Donald Ezell; sisters, Evelyn Mitchell and Barbara Sue Lewis. She is survived by daughter, Lori Dukes; son, Derrick Dukes (Christie); sister, Hilda Whittington; grandchildren, MaKayla (Nick) Hess, Macey Dukes (Nathaniel), Jimmy Dukes, Kelly (Matt) Watson, Amy Ellis; great grandchildren, Lacy Ellis, Alyssa Ellis, Abigail Watson, Noah Watson, Henley Hess and Kennedi Hess; special nieces, nephews, family and friends near and far.

Receiving of friends and family will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 1pm with a funeral service to follow at 2pm at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery at 3pm, Rev. Jimmy Effler officiating.
