Born: October 17, 1947 | Died: June 9, 2025
Nancy Lou Williams of Seymour, TN passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 9th, 2025 after a long battle with Alzheimers disease.
She was born on Oct. 17, 1947 in Sevierville to Jack & Bertha Rogers. She grew up in Sevier County, graduating from Sevier County High School in 1965.
She met her beloved husband Mike at Antioch Baptist Church where she was very involved singing, helping, & raising their son Roger to love the Lord.
She was employed over the years by Blalocks, Carl Bennett Roofing, The Apple Barn & also volunteered in the clinic at Seymour Primary School.
Her biggest priority in life was being a mom. She attended countless basketball games, fed entire basketball teams, & attended numerous youth worship events led by Roger. She was the biggest fan of the "All Mixed Up Quartet" & supported Roger throughout his ministry.
Later she became a very beloved grandmother to Ruthie, whom she adored.
Nancy was preceded in death by her late husband Mike Williams, parents Jack & Bertha Rogers, grandparents Tim & Ethel Rogers, Robert & Lula May McFalls & many special aunts, uncles & cousins. She is survived by son Roger Williams, daughter-in-law Chelsey, and granddaughter Ruthie. She leaves behind many special friends & family, who deeply miss her but look forward to meeting again in our heavenly home with Jesus.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Clover Hill Memory Care for their loving care.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service to honor Nancy on Tuesday, June 24th at 6:30 p.m. at Kodak Church. A reception will be held afterwards at the church.
