Stanley Dale Nuchols Stanley Dale Nuchols, 70, of Maryville, Tennessee passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, October 11, 2024 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Stanley was born on May 27, 1954 in Maryville, the youngest child of Oscar Nuchols and Gladys Whitehead Nuchols. He retired from ALCOA after 30 years of service. He married Janie Ann McClanahan on August 11, 1972. After nearly 49 years of marriage, she preceded him in death on August 7, 2021. Stanley was also preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Gladys; infant brother, Robert Lee Nuchols; and brother, Rex Nuchols. Stanley is survived by his children, Amy (Nathan) Gentry of Greenback and Brickey Nuchols of Nolensville; grandchildren, Brooke and Kevin Ogle, Blake and Dalton Gentry; great-grandchildren, Hunter Harmon and Isabella and Carson Gentry; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Ray Perkins of Maryville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Per Stanley's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the charity of your choice in memory of Stanley.
